Warning on latest USB drivers from Silicon Labs. All drivers later than version 10.1.2.2115 (from May 2018) do not work correctly and can cause numerous issues with various software. If you install the driver from Yaesu you are OK. However Windows update will replace this driver with the latest Silicon Labs driver.

• Silicon Laboratories CP210x USB to UART Bridge (Driver Removal) is an application marketed by the software company Silicon Laboratories. Frequently, people want to erase this program. This is difficult because doing this manually takes some advanced knowledge related to Windows internal functioning.

The µVision AGDI driver from Silicon Labs allows the Keil µVision Debugger to communicate with Silicon Labs on-chip debug logic. In-system Flash memory programming integrated into the driver allows you to rapidly update target code. The µVision Debugger can start and stop program execution, set breakpoints, check variables, inspect and modify memory contents, and single-step through programs running on your target hardware.
